Title: How to design active learning techniques for students across different learning backgrounds
Date/Time/Location: Friday, May 20th, 2022, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm PST via Zoom
Description: In this workshop, we will explore how to design and implement active learning techniques to engage students and improve their understanding of course material. We will discuss how to design active learning techniques to reach a wide range of students, in both large and small classroom settings. This workshop will also include tips for implementing active learning strategies that foster inclusive learning environments, where students from different backgrounds with different learning preferences can actively engage with course material. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to create and incorporate active learnings strategies that help them achieve the learning objectives in the course.
